Onur Ceritoglu is an architect, artist and academician based in Istanbul. In his works, Onur employs the disciplines of participatory art, architecture and urban design. He salvages the discarded to make form and create situations resulting in various mediums. Often, he works with found materials to contextualize the urban experience through a material-driven experience. Currently he continues his PHD research in architecture ITU. His research is based on urban transformation in relation with salvaging processes after demolition of the urban areas. He teaches interior design studio and furniture design at Istanbul Bilgi University. He is part of KABA HAT artist collective.
